After you use Riverside to record and edit audio or video, publish your exported episodes for distribution using Spotify for Podcasters and create an RSS feed.
NOTE:
The steps below apply if you are using riverside.fm. If you are creating an episode on podcasters.spotify.com, follow the instructions here instead.
Step by step
- On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
- In the ☰ menu on the left, click the relevant Studio.
- Click the relevant recording.
- In the top right corner, click Edit and choose + Create new edit.
Or scroll to Edits and click a Draft or Magic Clip.
- Click on a clip with a Ready label to open the Publish Clip page.
- Or click a clip with a Draft or Magic Clip label to open it in the Editor and export it.
- On the bottom right of the Publish Clip page, click the Spotify logo.
- Click Get started.
Your edited recording uploads as a draft episode on podcasters.spotify.com's Create episode page. - Under Episode Details, enter metadata like the episode's title, description, and publish date.
- Click Next.

Add an optional Q&A or poll, then click Next.

Review the details, then click Publish / Schedule.
Spotify creates a new episode of your podcast for each clip you publish.
Spotify displays video episodes in 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio in its app. You can change your clip's aspect ratio in the Editor.
NOTE:
The first time you click the Spotify logo, a new page opens to connect Riverside and Spotify for Podcasters. If you have an existing account, log in. Otherwise, create a new account and begin to set up your podcast.
