Enable graphics (hardware) acceleration

To perform graphics-heavy tasks, such as using virtual backgrounds, previewing videos, using the editor, and more, make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser settings.

This allows your browser to use your computer’s graphics processor, resulting in smoother visuals, better performance, and a more reliable experience.

Step by step

  1. Copy and paste this link into a new tab in your browser's address bar (Chrome or Edge):

    chrome://settings/system
  2. Press Enter to open the browser setting's System page.
  3. Next to Use graphics acceleration when available, click the toggle toggle (1).svg to turn it on

  4. Click Relaunch or Restart.
    Your browser closes all pages and pages and applies the new setting.
