Adjust the volume of an individual track in the editor

Adjust the volume of individual participant tracks, if a particular speaker has a track who's volume differs from the rest.

This feature is in beta and is being released gradually to Riverside users.

Step by step

  1. Open a recording in the Editor
  2. On the right side menu, click Tracks
  3. Click the participant's name of the track you want to edit.
  4. Under volume, click and drag the volume slider to the right to increase the volume or left to decrease it.  
    The volume is changed for the entire participant's track throughout the whole recording.

You can also use the Normalize Audio Levels option when exporting to improve the relative loudness of each participant, mute unwanted background noise on the entire recording, and mute participant tracks or track segments.
