Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- Next to the search bar at the top of the transcription, click the … [three dots].
- On the menu, click
Copy chapters list.
The chapter titles and timestamps are copied to your computer's clipboard.
In the list, the chapters are formatted with timestamps like this:

When exporting to one of our integrations
Chapters and markers appear in different forms or not at all depending on the external editing software you are exporting to and what features they support.
- Adobe Premiere Pro supports only markers, but not chapters.
- Final Cut Pro supports 'chapter markers' specifically for Riverside users export their chapters to the software.
