Add gaps between video frames in the editor

Add spacing and corner styles to create padding between video frames and reveal more of the background in each scene.

We recommend using Smart Scenes first to quickly and accurately apply dynamic layouts to your recording.

  1. Open a recording in the editor.
  2. Click the timeline to move the playhead to the scene you want to customize.
  3. Click the outer border of the recording canvas.
  4. Click Design.
  5. Next to Add spacing, toggle on toggle-on.svg

  6. Next to Corners, choose between radius-corner-03.svg Sharp or radius-corner-02.svgRound corners.

  • Spacing and corners appear only in the scene where you applied them. If your video doesn’t have any scenes, they apply to the entire recording.

  • You can set up a default design for your brand, including a background frame, spacing, and corner styles, by setting up your brand kit in the editor.
