Restore sections of a clip in the editor

After you remove parts of your recording by splitting and trimming the timeline, editing using the transcript, or removing silences, you can restore those sections in a few ways.

Step by step

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.

Restore sections on the timeline

3. After removing sections of the recording, click a trimming handle and drag across the removed section on the timeline.
   

Restore sections on the transcript

3. After removing sections of the recording, click and select the removed text in the transcript.
4. Click Restore.
   

You can also click the undo or redo icons at the top left of your screen.
