Turn Off Recording Countdown in Studio

By default, after the Host clicks Record in the Studio, each participant sees a 5-second countdown before the recording starts. Toggle this off in the Studio's settings to hide the countdown timer when you click Record.

NOTE:
When the countdown is toggled off, the recording still begins for each participant 5 seconds after the Host clicks Record.

Before a Studio Session

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Under Studios, click the relevant Studio.
3. On the left, click Settings.

4. Scroll to the Recording section and find Recording Start.
5. Next to Countdown timer, click the toggle off.
   The countdown is not shown at the start of the next recording in the Studio.
   

During a Studio Session

1. Join a Studio session as the Host or as a Producer.
2. Stop the current recording.
3. At the top of the page, click Settings.

4. Click Recording.
5. Scroll to Recording Start.
6. Next to Countdown timer, click the toggle  off.
   The countdown is not shown at the start of the next recording in the Studio.
