How can I change the email address associated with my Riverside account?
If you are using an individual accountcontact our Support team to update your email address. If you are a member of a Riverside for Business account, contact the team's Account Owner, who can change it for you.

How can I check which email address I used with my Apple ID?
If you used Apple’s Hide my Email option when signing up for a Riverside account, you can check your Riverside account's email address in iCloud.

Can I see reports or analytics about my Riverside account?
No. At this time, Riverside does not offer any reports or analytics about account usage.

What should I do if my account gets blocked?

If your account is blocked for security purposes, you can unlock it by clicking Unlock my account in the message sent to your associated Riverside email.

What happens when someone is removed from a Riverside for Business Account?
When a Business account owner removes a team member from their account, their account is deleted from the Riverside and they cannot access any recordings on the Business account.

Why is my account unverified?

If you didn’t verify your email after you created your Riverside account or after you changed your account email address, your account is considered unverified.

With a free account on Riverside, you can create high-quality audio and video recordings in your personal Studio and use the Editor to compose, customize, and export the recordings.

Our Teams plan is now called Riverside for Business.

Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, with Riverside's individual plans, you can change, upgrade, or cancel your account's subscription at any time.

What happens if I am added to an account and already have my own recordings?
All your Studios and past recordings from your individual account move to the new Business account. In the Business account, a new Production is created that uses your email address as its name.

Are team members who have an "invite pending" counted in the account's total number of seats?
Yes, invited users who haven't yet accepted the invite to join the team are indicated with 'invite pending' and they count toward the total used seats in your Business account.

What happens if I invite an existing user to my Business account?
When the existing user accepts the invite, all their Studios and past recordings become a new Production within the Business account.

What happens when I change my subscription?

The plan you change to will go into effect depending on the plan you choose. Your prior recordings will not be deleted, but we do recommend downloading your content.

Can I change my billing address and billing email?
How you change your billing address and email depends on your subscription plan.

Yes, you can choose monthly billing instead of annual billing.

From time to time, Riverside offers promotions to new or existing customers who subscribe to one of the Individual plans.

What payment methods can I use?
You can pay by credit card or debit card for individual plans like Standard and Pro. The Discover card cannot be used at this time.

What is Riverside’s contact information and Tax ID number?
Riverside's business address and Employer Identification Number (a U.S. Federal Tax Identification Number) are both included on our invoices.

Where can I find Riverside's Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, and security information?
Riverside is SOC 2 compliant and its security is ISO/IEC 27001 certified. All of the policies are listed here.

What languages is Riverside available in?
Although you can create recordings in any language, Riverside's interface is currently available only in English.

Can I use Riverside from any country?
Users in Cuba, Crimea, North Korea, Sudan, Iran, Syria, and parts of Ukraine cannot join the Studio to record video or audio.

Does Riverside support SSO methods (Single Sign-On)?
Users on all Riverside plans can log in to Riverside using their Google Account or an Apple ID. Some Riverside for Business accounts can use industry-standard SSO methods.

No, Riverside does not have a public API or Zapier integration available at this time. We'd love to hear what you're looking for in an API.

Does Riverside support assistive technology and accessibility devices?
Riverside's web platform is fully ARIA supported for use with screen reader tools. Riverside's mobile apps also support text-to-speech voiceover functions.

Recording and Download Hours

What happens when I've recorded more than 2 hours in my free account?
You can still download the high quality tracks of the first 2 hours of your recordings. You also have access to unlimited recording, unlimited editing with our feature-rich editor, and unlimited downloads of your edited recordings.

How are my subscription's download hours calculated? Do unused hours roll over?
Hours are calculated based on the duration of the recording sessions you download as separate track files. Unused recording hours expire and do not roll over to the following month.

What if I go over my subscription's download hours for the month?
You can still use Riverside's Editor to export the recordings as high quality clips.

How many hours have I recorded?
If you are on an individual account, you can see the total amount of recording time over the lifetime of your Riverside account by following these steps.
