Use the Editor to cut pauses, gaps, and silences from your recording. This can make your content feel faster-paced and more engaging. You can also set the pace to remove all silences at once.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- In the transcript, click a silent moment like •, ••, or ••• [represented by dots depending on the duration].
- On the menu, choose
Delete.
The pause is removed from the timeline content.
To bring back a pause, toggle on Show deleted text above the transcript. Then click the •• pause in the timeline or transcript and choose Restore.
