Remove Silences and Pauses from Clip's Timeline

Use the Editor to cut pauses, gaps, and silences from your recording. This can make your content feel faster-paced and more engaging. You can also remove all silences at once.

Step by step

  1. On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Under Studios, click the relevant Studio.
  3. Click the relevant recording.
  4. In the top right corner, click Go to editor.
    Or scroll to Clips and click a clip with a Draft or magic-spark-icon.svg Magic Clip label.
  1. Click transcript_icon_bk.svg Transcript to show the transcript.
  2. In the transcript, click a silent moment silence-gap-symbol.svg, then click delete-remove_trash.svg Remove.
    The clip timeline cuts most of the silent moment.

To restore a silent moment, click it again in the transcript and then click revert-edit.svg Revert, or click and drag the sections back together on the timeline below.
