The Lobby is the last step of joining a Riverside Studio for a recording session.

On the Lobby page, enter your display name other participants will see, indicate whether you are wearing headphones, and select your microphone, camera, and speakers.

When you record with Riverside for the first time or record in a new browser, give it access to your microphone and camera so you can be seen and heard in the Studio. You can turn your mic or camera off at any time in the Studio.

If you see the message Waiting for host to accept, the session's Host or Producer needs to accept you from the Lobby's waiting room.

We recommend you use headphones to prevent echo and increase overall audio quality. See other best practices for recording.
