When you record in the Studio, participants' video frames are sometimes cropped to fit everyone on screen and increase data efficiency during the live call. Enterprise users can override this to show everyone's full frame video at all times in the Studio. Follow the steps below.


Locally-recorded separated tracks are always recorded in full frame, 16:9 video.

Step by step:

  1. On your computer, log in to your account.

  2. Click Home.

  3. Access a Studio's settings by clicking the Settings (gear) icon.

  4. In the General section, find Live Call.

  5. Under Live Call Framing, click Data Save or Full Frame.
    The next call will use the selected settings.


Check a participant's full video frame at any time in the sidebar. Under their Input & Output information, click Preview recording.

Increasing the resolution of a live call can also result in clearer video when recording in the Studio.
