The live video of participants that they see in the Studio has a lower resolution than the locally recorded tracks created during the recording session. In the Studio, participants see each other's live video up to a resolution of 720p. This helps limit the bandwidth needed for your conversation while each person's device automatically records them.
Change the default video quality of local recordings in the Recording section of a Studio's settings.
Video quality adapts based on your internet connection during a live call.
The locally recorded tracks are always 16:9 widescreen. Participants' video frames are sometimes cropped during the live call so each person is visible.
