YouTube is a well-known platform to share your recordings, and it is free and easy to use. Follow the steps below to export a recording and upload it to YouTube.

Step by step:

  1. Log in to your Riverside account on a computer.

  2. Click Home.

  3. Below the relevant Studio, click View all recordings.

  4. On the Studio Recordings page, click the relevant recording session.

  5. On the recording session's page, click Edit & Export.

  6. Use the Editor to trim, compose, and customize your clip.

  7. Click Export.

  8. On the recording session's page, scroll to the Clips section.

  9. Click on a clip with a Ready label.


    If a clip's label is Draft, open your recording in the Editor and export it.

  10. At the top of the Publish Clip page, click the download icon.
    Your video file downloads.

  11. Sign in to YouTube.

  12. Click the Create icon, then Upload video.

  13. Select the video file on your computer and upload the video.


As of February 2022, Riverside’s Share to YouTube integration has been temporarily removed to fix an issue. You can still export clips from the Editor and upload them to YouTube, or live stream from the Riverside Studio to viewers on YouTube.

YouTube only supports video file uploads.
