If you encounter a guest with less than ideal internet speeds and are having difficult with their live call quality, you may want to consider pausing their upload. This will improve the call quality, but require them to remain on the Riverside tab in order to complete their upload after the recording.
This can also be helpful for livestreaming when you want to prioritize the call quality over the upload speed.
To do this, set the Upload control toggle to Manual in your studio settings.
This will add a pause and resume button to individual users as well as for the entire recording. Clicking the pause button will stop the upload while allowing the files to accumulate. Once the recording has completed, the upload will automatically resume from where you left off.
Please note that we do not suggest this for long recordings as files can accumulate at a quick rate and result in full storage, and long upload times.
